Description: A circular walk from Gunnerside in the Yorkshire Dales. From Gunnerside we initially follow the path through a small woodland before a fairly steep ascent up the Gill where we shall see some remains of the lead mining industry. We shall cross the beck over a small bridge and follow the obvious path which leads to part of the Coast to Coast path surrounded by open heather moorland. From here we head to Swinner Gill and back to Gunnerside.
